American president Donald Trump welcomed Super Bowl champions New England Patriots to the White House on Wednesday. However, one of the players who skipped the visit was star Tom Brady.

According to Inquisitr, Brady’s Brazilian supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen is said to have been the reason for his absence.

The 36-year-old blocked her husband’s trip because of her personal dislike for Trump. On the same day, Bündchen also shared a link to an anti-Trump rally later this month in a Twitter post that she subsequently deleted.

"March for climate, jobs, and justice. To change everything, we need everyone," read the post, which provided a link to the "People’s Climate March" on April 29, intending to protest his environmental policies on Trump’s 100th day in office.

Bundchen has time and time again expressed her dislike for Trump, sending out messages via social media that she never stood behind his candidacy. She also seemed to challenge Trump’s claims that her husband called him to tell him that he had cast his vote for him.
